Group Home Services

We maintain and operate 18, 24-hour residential homes in neighborhoods throughout the Greater Lowell area.

Homes are owned or leased by Incompass and are located in neighborhoods in Chelmsford, Dracut, Lowell, Tewksbury, Tyngsboro, and Westford. Typically, 3 to 5 adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities live in each home, supported by full-time Incompass staff. Inspections and maintenance updates are conducted regularly to ensure that the properties are kept in prime condition. Each residence is staffed by a program manager and direct support staff — all trained to provide high-quality, caring services.

Program Highlights

Safety Supports

All direct care staff working in residential homes are certified in CPR and First Aid. They also receive ongoing training in Medication Administration, Driver Safety, Physical Assistance, and Human Rights. Homes with residents that require more extensive medical care are staffed with Certified Nursing Assistants.

Self-Sufficiency Supports

Residential home residents create and participate in the daily routine of their home to the extent that they are able. Meal planning/preparation, laundry, general housekeeping, and shopping are some of the activities where their assistance is expected and encouraged.

Routine Care

Each residential home resident receives routine medical care by their own physician, dentist, or other medical specialist. A full time registered nurse regularly monitors the medical condition or needs of each individual living in a group home.

Not only were [staff] receptive to our input, but they also acknowledged that it would help to maintain Craig’s quality of life. And make it even better.
